The price of ATF was reduced in November by about 6% (to Rs 6,854.25 per liter) and in December by 4.6% (to Rs 5,189.25).</p>
<p>The three reduction rounds have eliminated about 45% of the price rise of Rs 29,391.08 per kilo, which was implemented in four monthly installments beginning on July 1. The already financially burdened airlines will be lessened by the decrease in jet fuel prices, which account for 40% of an airline’s operational costs.</p>

<p>The price increase comes after a December 22 rate decrease of Rs 39.5 per cylinder. Every month on the first, the government-owned Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) adjust the pricing of cooking gas and ATF by using the preceding month’s average worldwide price.
