Urban Oxygen Parks and Environmental Infrastructure
Merchant has also collaborated on the development of the Oxygen Park concept, which integrates bamboo plantations with municipal wastewater management systems. The model is designed to support carbon sequestration, oxygen generation, wastewater absorption, and biomass energy production within urban environments.
The concept has attracted interest from municipal authorities seeking sustainable approaches to air quality improvement and environmental management. Planned implementations are intended to align with broader urban sustainability and clean-air objectives.
